What does alcohol-free actuelly mean?Updated 4 months ago
Oftentimes, there's confusion between the terms "non-alcoholic" and "alcohol-free". According to German food law, they are not interchangeable. Here's the key distinction:
Non-alcoholic: A drink can contain up to 0.5% alcohol by volume.
Alcohol-free or 0.0%: A drink is guaranteed to contain no alcohol, meaning 0.0% by volume.
It's important for you to know that POLLY products are legally non-alcoholic and therefore contain less than 0.5% alcohol. Remember, our products are not meant to be drunk straight away; they are usually mixed with a suitable filler like tonic or lemonade. This further reduces the alcohol content in your finished drink.
